A Nod To The Arts

My buddy, Phil, is so talented! I just had to share. He did this while in New York. Please see Batter Up! for a better explanation. This is a pencil sketch. I've always said that his best medium is pencil. He's like a living camera! I love it when he sketches. He always seems to get so much more detail when he does. Can you tell I'm a big fan? The hubby and I are trying to convince him to come to Newport this summer so he can draw. There's so much to see here! The mansions, the cliff walk, and the port are just a few things. This place just cries out for artists. Well we'll keep working on him. I wish I had such talent. Okay no pitty party for me I promise!
