Today we took the boat out and Kaiser went with us. He got so excited while we were getting ready that we didn't have the heart to leave him behind. It's been some time since we've gone out on the boat. July, to be a bit more exact.
He's so our dog! He loves the water. He may not like wearing the dog life vest, but he loves it once we get going out on the water and the wind's in his face. So he puts up with Mommy's paranoia and wears the thing with no fuss.
I'd always wondered why dogs like sticking their faces out car windows while the cars were moving. I think I've finally figured it out. They feel like they're flying. And today Kaiser was flying. He was Superpup! The wind was in his face and he was a happy camper. The only thing he didn't like was hitting the waves. He likes flying as long as he can keep one paw firmly on the ground.
