I should have posted this at the beginning of the week, but hey life happens. On the 17th we went to John and Ruth's to celebrate Theo's first birthday. His birthday was actually earlier in the week, but we won't quibble as he's one and he won't know the difference.
Being as Theo is only one he really doesn't have any friends of his own. So really it was a party where all of Mommy and Daddy's friends came over. But as you can see Theo adjusted nicely and played good host by spending time with others. As you can see he's enticed Julie into playing with him and they both seem to be having a blast.
And of course there was the main event. Watching child eat frosting. He was a bit timid about cake. And honestly didn't seem to make that big of a mess. He doesn't really get sugar, so he wasn't really sure what to do with it.
